DESCRIPTION:(Read meeting follow up post: “It Starts with States”) \n\n\n\nWe’re excited to welcome Nicole Zambrano\, Senior Organizing Manager with Sister District Project as our guest speaker. While an RSVP is not required\, we appreciate you taking time to help us get a head count for our meeting. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout our speaker: Nicole Zambrano is a Senior Organizing Manager with Sister District Project\, where she co-leads the organization’s National Phonebank Program\, and works to elect crucial Democratic candidates to state legislatures in swing states across the country. \n\n\n\nA native of South Florida\, Nicole has a background in campaign politics\, where she cultivated a love for direct voter contact and field work. Prior to her work at Sister District\, she was a volunteer for Obama in 2008 and 2012\, a Fellow for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign\, and an Organizer during the 2020 Presidential Election and the 2021 GA Runoffs. In the spring of 2021\, she relocated to Virginia\, where she was a Regional Organizing Director for the 2021 VA Gubernatorial Election\, in support of Terry McAuliffe and candidates for the VA House of Delegates. She has lived in Northern VA ever since\, and currently resides in Prince William County with her partner\, who is also a Political Organizer\, and their several pets.
