Join us on Friday, September 26 at The Green Goat, 802 Wiley Dr SW, for a dive into ways to engage with and grow the number of voters in our November election! Our guest speakers will introduce tools and techniques designed to help all of us build personal networks and social connections to get out the vote so that we can all have an impact on this election.

“Relational Organizing: Canvassing from the Comfort of Your Couch!“
Sarah Goodman is a passionate advocate for democracy, public education, and reproductive freedom. A former public-school teacher who served as the vice president and PAC Chair of the teacher’s union, she has dedicated her life to fighting against the erosion of public education by right-wing extremists. An avid reader and writer, she believes in the transformative power of education and the written word. A mother of two sons, her commitment to creating a just and equitable society is driven by the desire to leave a legacy of progress for the next generation. Sarah works for Red Wine & Blue, a grassroots group focused on getting out the vote to fight extremism using relational organizing.

Richard Gooding is a political activist and organizer. Before forming Roanoke Social Circle, he was an organizer with AZ Blue 2020. Richard is a former Michigan State University College of Business professor, a strategic planning consultant, and leadership coach.
We look forward to seeing everyone at The Green Goat, 802 Wiley Drive SW. Our program begins at 12:00 noon followed by a brief business meeting. If ordering lunch, please arrive between 11:15 and 11:45 to place your order. While an RSVP is not required, we appreciate you taking time to help us get a head count for our meeting.
