As the 2025 election season kicks into high gear, now is the time to roll up our sleeves and make an impact. At this month’s meeting, we’ll focus on how you can get involved in voter outreach to support our Democratic candidates—up and down the ballot.

Spotlight: The Power of Canvassing
Door-to-door canvassing is still the gold standard of voter outreach. Unlike phone banking or postcards, face-to-face conversations are the most effective way to engage voters, build trust, and ensure they have the information—and motivation—they need to vote.

Here’s what we’ll cover:

• What canvassing looks like in 2025
• Tips for effective, safe, and FUN canvassing
• How to find and sign up for upcoming volunteer opportunities
• The different roles in canvassing—there’s a place for everyone!
• Beyond canvassing

With early voting in Virginia starting Friday, September 19, now is the time to take action and help drive voter turnout.

We’ve also invited all of our Democratic candidates and their campaign representatives to join us, bring yard signs, and connect with volunteers.

PLUS: We’ll announce and present our 2025 campaign contributions.
